DAY 1: TANGIER TO CHEFCHAOUEN:

Within this day we will drive between a series of mountains called Rif Mountains with its green land and amazing villages till we get to Chefchaouen, the blue pearl of Morocco. Chefchaouen Medina has a Spanish-style square surrounded by many funky arts and crafts stores, roof-top restaurants and cafes where you will spend your night in a nice place to enjoy the breeze. The night at a typical riad.

DAY 2:  DAY TO EXPLORE CHEFCHAOUEN:

You will have a free day to promenade around and to explore the highlights of the blue city. Chefchaouen or Chaouen is a city in the north-west of Morocco. It is the main town of the province of the same name, and stands out for its buildings in blue tones. Chefchaouen or Chaouen, as it is often called by the Moroccans, is a popular tourist destination due to its proximity to Tangier and the Spanish enclave of Ceuta. The name refers to the shape of the mountain tops above the city, which resemble the two horns of a goat. “Chef Chaouen” derives from the Berber word for horns, Ichawen. Overnight at the same riad.

DAY 3: CHEFCHAOUEN – VOLUBILIS – MEKNES – FES:

In our third day of our 10 Days Tour From Tangier To Marrakech, we will leave blue city and drive towards Volubilis via Ouazzane and other villages, in Volubilis we will discover the Roman ruins and learn about the archaeological site of Morocco, after the visit of the ruins we will shift our way to Meknes city which found in the 17 century. After lunch we hang around the historical walls of the Medina by visiting Bab Mansour and Moulay Ismail’s shrine. After the visit of Meknes we will drive directly to Fez, night will be at a beautiful Riad.

DAY 4: FES SIGHTSEEING:

After breakfast in your riad,  you will start exploring Fes “the Spiritual City of Morocco” with a local guide. You will spend the whole morning exploring the Medina, visiting most of the sites with cultural and historical interest – including the famous Al Karaouine Mosque and University (the oldest in the world), the Tanneries and the Najjarine fountain. After lunch, we will drive outside the Medina to see the Royal Palace gate, walk through the Jewish quarter “the Mellah”, then to visit the pottery cooperative. Afternoon, we will drive to one of the fortresses to experience an amazing panoramic view of the whole Medina of Fes. Overnight at the same Riad.

DAY 5: FES – IFRANE – MIDELT – ZIZ VALLEY – ERFOUD – SAHARA DESERT:

After breakfast, we drive to Merzouga via Errachidia and Erfoud. Tizi N Talghamt Pass and the Ziz Gorges with the view of the High Atlas plateau, you’ll see how the scenery changes to reveal hints of the desert as you approach the city of Errachidia. Afterwards, we will travel along Ziz Valley till we reach Erfoud( capital of fossils). Arrive at Merzouga on the afternoon. And you’ll be greeted with a glass of tea when you get into your hotel.

DAY 6:  DISCOVER SAHARA DESERT – CAMEL TREKKING:

After breakfast in your riad, you can take a little exploration of the local area before the start of your camel ride; You will visit the Gnawa people – originally from Mali, Senegal and Sudan – in their village Khamlia, where you will learn about their music and their lifestyle. Today we will have a traditional berber meal. You will have the option to visit the city of Rissani – the foundation of the Alawi dynasty – the current ruling royal family in Morocco. Rissani is surrounded by around 300 ksar and has a big souk, held three times a week. Once called Sijilmassa, this was the meeting place for the salt caravans, coming from Timbuktu in Mali, you’ll walk through its famous souk where the locals of the whole area come for shopping. Then we drive back to the village of Merzouga from where camel trekking strats guided by an experienced camel-man to explore what is hidden in the middle of the highest sand dunes till you reach the camp by having breaks for taking pictures and enjoying Sahara desert sunset. Dinner will be served at the camp, where you will spend the night with a spectacular time by drums music performance played by locals under a starry sky.

DAY 7: SAHARA DESERT – TODRA GORGES – DADES VALLEY:

In this day we will get to know Merzouga desert sunrise over the dunes of the Sahara. After having breakfast and shower we make our way back either by Camel or 4×4 option. Then we’ll drive through Erfoud and different Berber villages till we get Todra Gorges, the highest and narrowest gorges in Morocco, where we will have time for walking and enjoy rock formation. After, having lunch we drive to Dades Valley where we spend the night.

DAY 8: DADES VALLEY – BOUTAGHRAR – SKOURA – OUARZAZATE:

After breakfast, we’ll drive towards Kalaa M’gouna and Ouarzazate. The route through Dades Valley is named the way of thousand kasbahs – providing numerous opportunities to take some of your best photographic shots of the trip. Today we will have the opportunity to visit a nomad family in the mountain living in caves, to discover another style of life different from the other one in the Sahara desert we will stop at Kalaa Mgouna, “the rose city”, to purchase the rosewater, which will make your linen smell good a long time after your trip is over. Continuing on to Skoura you’ll visit the Kasbah Ameridil, a well-preserved Kasbah in this area. Lunch will be in a traditional Moroccan restaurant overlooking the beautiful valley, to Ouarzazate, “the Hollywood of Africa”, whose geography and beautiful landscapes have attracted many world class movie producers. Here you may choose to visit the studios, containing props used in movies such as The Mummy, Gladiator and the Last temptation of Christ. Overnight will be at a hotel.

DAY 9: OUARZAZATE – AIT BEN HADDOU KASBAH – MARRAKECH:

After breakfast in your Riad, we’ll head to Marrakech, visiting Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, which is the largest Kasbah in Morocco, built by T-hami El Glaoui, one of the last Berber chieftains during the beginning of the 19th century, it used to be one of his stops during his long travel from the Sahara to Marrakech. Now it is one of UNESCO’s world heritage sites. Your journey will continue through the majestic Tizi n’tichka Pass (2260 m) over the High Atlas Mountains to Marrakech .In our way you will have chance to explore the way and the process of making Argan oil which existed only in Morocco by the Berber women in their cooperatives after we get to Marrakech and spend the night at a hotel\riad

DAY 10: MARRAKECH CITY TOUR:

After breakfast we spend full day tour with a local guide to discover Marrakech. The stories tell that city was inhabited by a tribe on the other side of the Atlas, with large supplies of dates and bones born a palm. Called ” the red city ” because of the color of its walls and filled with gardens, watered by underground wells(khettarat), which were built by the Almoravids and Saharan nomads in the eleventh century. We will visit Menara, the kasbah, the Saadian Tombs, the Bahia Palace, the Koutoubia, Majorelle Gardens and souks are some of the unavoidable visits. A unique experience will be to discover the square” Djemaa El Fna ” where life and activity of the city is concentrated: dancers, storytellers, jugglers, artisans, merchants, and snake charmers overnight at the same hotel\riad.

DAY 11: optional DAY TRIP TO ESSAOUIRA:

After breakfast in your riad, we will travel to the coastal city of Essaouira. Getting there after 2H30 and start exploring the city. You’ll visit the Skala Fortress; see Thuya wood carved by artisans; walk through the alleys of the Medina and view of handicrafts. This “City of the Wind” attracts surfers from all over the world. Essaouira knew many civilizations – including the Portuguese occupation, which affects much of its architecture – however, it remains a small village with much history. Because of its size and its characteristic blue doors and washed walls, it is also considered as Morocco’s “Jewel of the Atlantic”. Lunch will be cooked with a Moroccan way – fresh fish. In the afternoon you will travel back to Marrakech. Overnight at your riad.

DAY 12: MARRAKECH – AIRPORT:

Transfer to the airport.
